Lacey Hunter, MDiv, is a Queer theologian, poet and Christian monastic at heart who understands the dynamic interplay between ministry and activism for the flourishing of Beloved Community.
Among Lacey’s passions is a commitment to the many ways daily and creative rhythms of ritual, prayer and sacrament shape our lives for the work of compassionate justice, healing and community building. Believing that it does not get much queerer than God incarnate in the flesh, Lacey is faithfully committed to witnessing and empowering the unfolding of God’s mystery in creation, humanity and community. Lacey is a Candidate for Ordination within the United Church of Christ and holds a Master’s of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, CA, and a Bachelor’s of Science from Southern Oregon University, Ashland, Oregon.
Lacey currently serves on the pastoral team at Mission Bay Community Church, (PCUSA) in San Francisco.
