When Carol first began attending FCCO in the fall of 2008, she didn't know that she was searching for a new church home. She never felt at home in any church before. She was instantly drawn to the free and open worship in this place. What she has found through staying here a midst the ups and downs of church life is a community that is willing to stay in relationship, wrestling with each other across differences, and at the same time seeking God's will and the power to carry that out.
Carol believes in the liberating power of Jesus who teaches how to choose life in community over the destructive forces of neo-liberalism.
Carol is a deacon and serves on the Worship & the Arts Team. She receives particular joy in the creation of the altar for worship most weeks. Come and be blessed!
