My name is Lee Whittaker. I am an ordained minister with the Progressive Christian Alliance. I believe strongly in the emergent church movement. I believe there are many who are spiritually hungry and religiously homeless out there because the church that is dying did not serve them. The emergent church movement is filled with visionaries of a new church with inclusive worship and rituals so that all souls can be fed. God has work for us!

A little about me. I'm an unapologetic, queer, progressive, ordained Christian minister, 1st degree pagan priest, Jewish, Buddhist, who works a practice of radical welcome as best as I am humanly able to on a day to day basis. I have been in recovery from alcoholism for 30 years. I have a Masters of Divinity from Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, California.

My ministry involves helping people heal spiritually so that they may be able to make healthy and informed choices on their spiritual path and about their relation to the Divine. I see so many who are suffering needlessly in spiritual woundedness that has resulted from abusive theology and religion done badly. My call is to help people find their relationship with the Divine as the Divine presents itself to each individual by teaching and preaching the good news.
